    • Each time I paint him, it's different and I trying to get that perfect vision I have for the photograph I took and the sketch I made.  I painted this version on very thick 100% 850gsm card.  It's something else and a feature of this painting, in itself.

      In 2015, I sat in the Plaça de la Verònica, Barcelona and watched a musician smoke a cigarette, hold his beaten up guitar and watch us. It was a fleeting moment where we were both waiting for motivation to stay. I was transfixed to see how long it would take him to start playing and whether the passers by would be worth playing to. I drew him from afar in a little pink sketch book. He sung Bob Marley songs once he started. My sangria was large and yummy under my umbrella.

    The mock-up rooms however, feature the framed painting/s to scale.

    Most paintings are card frame mounted in black and backed with core flute.  They are then plastic wrapped with care instructions and invoiced for postage. 

    Where the painting is not listed as mounted, the painting is carefully rolled in acid-free tissue paper and placed in a hard card box cylinder.
